Los Angeles-based DJ, Payso, is a proud Mexican-American who shows the world that music is a universal language. Taking the best influences from Electronic, Urban Latin, and Hip-hop music, he is here to show that there are no limits to what can be achieved with genre-bending. Hailing from Huntington Beach, CA, and inspired by his love for dance music, he is making an imprint that will be remembered for decades.
Producing and engineering for a vast collection of artists all over the world, Payso continues to spread his talents with one of Mexico’s biggest artists, “Adriel Favela” working on his latest album “Cosas Del Diablo” and most streamed single “Contigo No Fue.” In Payso’s recent work, he charted in the United Kingdom reaching top 10 for “Florida Water - (Miami Mix)”. Furthermore, he produced for Mexican artist “C-Kan,”Puerto Rican artist, “Jamby El Favo,” Cuban artist, “Ovi,” and Puerto Rican artist, “Almighty”- Bendito Sea El Hijo. Working with a variety of legends and newcomers alike, his productions can be heard across a multitude of platforms.
Following the success of his former duo alias, Akela, which reached over 100M plays worldwide, Payso has consistently dropped music and singles building up to his upcoming album, Los Hollywood, releasing February 2024.
